Disneyland 2020 Price Increases! 2019 VS 2020 Price Comparison

ANAHEIM, CA – Starting today the Disneyland Resort has raised their prices on some of the tickets and all of the Annual Passports as they prepare for the opening of the Marvel-land Avengers Campus opening later this summer.

Ticket prices have increased as much as 13% for Annual Passports, up to 5% for parkhopper tickets, and 3% for top tier tickets. Since the year 2000 single-day tickets have tripled from $43 a day to $159 a day during peak season.

With these 2020 Disneyland price increased, it doesn’t seem too bad as they have added in more affordable pricing tiers for the single- day park tickets than last year. In 2019 they only had 3 pricing tiers, with this new pricing structure their are 5 tiers, with some days cheaper than the previous. Let’s take a look at the Annual Passes.

Annual Passport monthly payment options are only available to SoCal residents. The down payment for Annual Passes have also increased:

Even with these price changes Disneyland still has some affordable options. SoCal residents can three-day single-park tickets for $199. You can even upgrade this option to a parkhopper ticket for an additional $55 ($254 total). Averaging out to $66 a day, where Universal Studios Hollywood tickets start at $99 for California Residents. One last tip, if you are planning on visiting Disneyland in 2020 and beyond, you’ll save the most money by getting a multi-day ticket as they are cheaper than one-day tickets.
